About the Test

  • HLA Typing of patient and donor help in identifying matches and mismatches of HLA antigens between donor and recipient. HLA A, B C, DR DP and DQ are relevant to organ transplantation.
  • The HLA Typing is also used to prove blood relationship between recipient & Donor
  • The HLA antigen mismatches and presence of HLA antibodies against the mismatches are important in predicting risk of rejection

Routine: 5 Working days
Emergency: 6 to 8 hours

SSO1

This test will provide high resolution single locus typing as per clinician’s order- A, B, C, DR, DP, DQ, DRB345

SSO2

This test will provide high resolution typing for- A, B, C & DR loci

SSO3

This test will provide high resolution typing for- A, B, C DR, DP, DRB 345 and DQ loci

NGS1

High resolution HLA A, B, C, Dr, DP, DQ, Dr, DRB345 typing (11 Loci)

NGS2

High resolution HLA A, B, C, Dr, DP, DQ, Dr typing (6 Loci)

  • Please have the form filled and signed by your doctor.
  • Contact the laboratory to schedule an onsite / home collection

Please submit the following when giving the sample

  • Government-certified identification card (Aadhar card / Passport / Driving License)
  • Previous HLA reports – HLA typing, Cross match, and Antibody profile (PRA, SAB)
